Party Positions on November 2010 Propositions
These positions were established at the San Jose Plenary (March 2010), and as a result of the County Polling process
From the March 2010 Plenary
The GA also took the following positions in advance of any of the following proposed or pending initiatives being certified for the ballot:
- Marijuana Legalization (Regulation and Restrictions similar to those for alcohol) -- Support; Vote YES
- Any measure requiring parental notification before doctors/hospitals could provide abortion services to minors -- Oppose; Vote NO (this position is unchanged from the last three times this initiative has been put forth)
- Repeal of Proposition 8 (repeal of definition of marriage as between a man and a women, only) -- Support; Vote YES
