GPCA Coordinating Committee Candidate Bio (Two-Year Term) Lauren Sinnott To whom this may concern, Please accept my application for a 'two-year' at-large seat expiring in 2013 on the Green Party of California's Coordinating Committee. I have been a registered Green Party member for the last twenty years or so and have been active in local government since I moved to northern California in 1999. I have served on the Point Arena City Council since 2000 including two terms as Vice-Mayor and one term as Mayor. I also serve on the Mendocino Council of Governments and am currently Vice-Chair as well as the Delegate to the state-wide organization Calcog. In addition, I was the Co-Chair of Green Party-member Dan Hamburg's successful campaign for Mendocino County's 5th District Board of Supervisor's seat in last November's race. I would like to be on the state coordinating committee in order to help find practical solutions to the many challenges we face in these times as a party, as a state and as a species. I am results-oriented and would like to cooperatively advance the Green Party's goals in California.
