On August 21, 2006, the CC passed the following
resolution by a vote of 12 to 1 during an
"executive session" meeting:

The GPCA CC takes full responsibility for unequivocal
challenge of those individuals who have resorted to
slanders, speculations, and gossip about the sexual
behavior of women in the party to demean and discredit
those women. Such statements defame the targeted
women, impugn their credibility, their capacity for
independent thought, and the quality of their
positions and perspectives, and result in
diminishing the role that women are willing to play
within the Green Party. All forms of sexist, racist,
or bigoted slander are expressly against the values
(personal responsibility and feminism) and platform of
this party.
